Through ecologically minded processes, forms, and materials, Kimberly seeks to convey the importance of harmony in nature and society. Quality craftsmanship and the use of properly harvested and reclaimed wood promotes sustainable living. The forms used in her functional furniture are direct representations of the natural world and bring the playfulness of nature into everyday utilitarian objects.

I am a professional studio artist and designer working in Indianapolis, IN. My business, PDO Design, operates with my fine art production in tandem with my design production. Working with expertise in various styles, my skill set intersects with many different materials used traditionally and innovatively. My versatility yields creative and unique facets incorporated into my projects.

As an artist with an extreme dedication to making my art, I am able to work in many mediums and styles, allowing me the flexibility to communicate visually in any way that suits the ideas I am trying to portray. The underlying content of all of my works is sociopolitical and humanistic.
